Theatre Bristol presents the whodunit “Deathtrap” directed by Gary Aday at the Cameo Theatre, 703 State Street, Bristol, Virginia, opening October 23rd and running for two weekends, including a special Halloween late-night showing. Tickets now on sale at www.TheatreBristol.org/tickets.

Seemingly comfortable in his charming Connecticut home, Sidney Bruhl, played by Dan Gray, is a successful writer of Broadway thrillers who is now struggling to overcome a string of recent failures and a shortage of funds. When a student, Clifford Anderson played by Scott Hill, sends him a new script—a thriller that Sidney recognizes immediately as a potential Broadway hit–Sidney sees an opportunity.

With the help of his wife Myra Bruhl played by Nicole Intagliata, Sidney devises a plan to “collaborate” with the student. Suspense mounts steadily as the plot begins to twist and turn with attorney Porter Milgrim played by Terry Marek and psychic Helga Ten Drop played by Gina Kraut, the devilish cleverness builds to a still-startling finale.
