The House provides a temporary home away from home for critically ill children and their families while the children receive medical care in any local hospital. Although the House is located in Johnson City\, it is regional in services\; 56% of the families we serve are from Southwest VA\, 28% Northeast TN\, 9% from Eastern KY and 7% from other US states.
