DESCRIPTION:Do you know somebody struggling with addiction and are looking for ways to help?\n\n\n\nThe Opioid\, Stimulant\, and Overdose Prevention training is a course that educates community members on opioid overdose and overdose prevention through the distribution of Naloxone. The Regional Overdose Prevention Specialists (ROPS) interface with their assigned communities to help to reduce harm\, address stigma\, and increase public awareness\, including the brain science of addiction\, compassion fatigue\, and how to administer Naloxone.\n\n\n\nSign up for this FREE training available to all community members HERE! Everyday every breath is a miracle and a G.I.F.T. (God is Forever There). She continues to grow and learn\, so to be most effective in her ability to share from her own personal life experiences\, as it relates to the topic/material at hand\, along with keeping current in training that supports her effectiveness in the field of substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health as co-occurring factors\, which includes being current with the new trending drugs. Frankie became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) in 2013.  In 2021\, she was trained as Recovery Coach\, Certified Peer Recovery Supervisor (CPRS Supervisor)\, then in 2022 also became a Certified Men's Health Educator (CMHE). Frankie is currently serving as a Region 1 Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist (ROPS) providing education\, training\, outreach\, and referrals\, as well as working closely and implementing the "Leave Behind" program with our First Responders.
